Zhang Xue motorcycle issued a recall notice.
On April 22nd, Zhang Xue Motorcycles issued a recall notice for the 820RR. The notice stated that on April 16th, a 820RR in Yinchuan experienced a crankcase rupture. On April 21st, the damaged vehicle was returned to the factory and upon disassembly and inspection, the cause of the crankcase rupture was found: the O-ring seal of the relief valve was incorrectly installed. After using the vehicle for a period of time, the relief valve became loose, causing oil pressure leakage, insufficient lubrication, and connecting rod bearing failure. Currently, 286 units of the 820RR have been delivered. Owners are advised to stop using the 820RR and contact an authorized Zhang Xue Motorcycles dealership to have the vehicle towed to the dealership for rectification.
