On-site visit to the Beijing office of Kai Shi Ke company reveals that its registered address is currently a raw materials company.

Interface News saw from the Tianyancha APP that the American membership-based retailer Costco has set up a company in Beijing. Business registration data from Tianyancha shows that was registered on April 16, 2026, with a registered capital of $100 million USD. Costco is the sole shareholder of the company, with the registered address being Room A27, 3rd floor, Building 2, Yard 15, Guanghua Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Huang Shousu is the legal representative of the company, also serving as manager, director, and financial officer. On April 22, Interface News visited the registered office of Costco Beijing and found that the office address was being used by a company that deals with industrial materials. A staff member of that company told Interface News that they have no relationship with Costco. Costco entered China in 2019 and by the first quarter of 2026, they have 7 stores in mainland China, with 2 in Shanghai, and 1 each in Suzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Nanjing. Their eighth store is expected to open in Quanzhou.
