The scale of geothermal energy utilization is accelerating, and the phased results of the green development city model in Xiong'an New Area are released.
Today, reporters learned from Xiong'an New Area that various aspects of the construction of a model of green development city in Xiong'an New Area have been comprehensively upgraded. Progress has been made in nine major model construction projects such as "building a green ecological space pattern, creating a low-carbon safe energy system, and improving energy-saving and carbon-reducing levels in the construction sector." It is understood that in terms of green buildings, Xiong'an New Area has achieved a proportion of 100% of new high-star green buildings, with over 30% being three-star green buildings. The Xiong'an Business Service Center was selected as one of the first batch of national "four good" green and low-carbon cases. The integrated system of green building city model construction, which includes "policy guarantees, standard leadership, technical support, intelligent control, and demonstration driving," has been fully implemented and won the first prize of "Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award." This provides replicable and scalable "Xiong'an experience" for the development of green buildings. In terms of green energy, the scale of geothermal energy utilization is accelerating. By the end of 2025, the area of geothermal heating will reach 9.45 million square meters, and the State Grid Wangjiazhai microgrid was selected as a typical demonstration project by the National Energy Administration. Xiong'an New Area has also released the "List of Model Scenarios for Green Development City in Xiong'an New Area" and the "Action Guide for Green and Low-carbon Living for Residents in Xiong'an New Area," further improving the system and mechanism for green development and establishing a model city for institutional innovation.
