European stock markets collectively fell.

The Europe Stoxx 50 index fell by 1.04%, the UK's FTSE 100 index fell by 1.12%, the French CAC 40 index fell by 1.14%, the German DAX 30 index fell by 0.85%, and the FTSE Italy MIB index fell by 0.63%.
