China Software Industry Association: the revenue of China's software industry has gradually increased from 8.16 trillion in 2020 to 15.48 trillion in 2025.

The "2025 China Software Industry Development Outlook Research Report" released today by the China Software Industry Association shows that China's software industry has successfully completed the development goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and has a solid foundation to move to a new development stage. The data shows that in the first two months of this year, the revenue of the software industry in China reached 2.1534 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.7%. The total profit of the software industry was 269.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. Chen Baoguo, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China Software Industry Association, introduced that the revenue of the software industry in China has gradually increased from 8.16 trillion yuan in 2020 to 15.48 trillion yuan in 2025, with an average annual growth rate of 13.8%, ranking at the forefront of various industries in the national economy. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, China's software industry is expected to exceed the milestone of 20 trillion yuan.
