State President Xi Jinping appoints and dismisses ambassadors abroad.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has decided to appoint and remove the following ambassadors based on the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress: 1. Mr. Zhang Yiming has been removed from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Ceng Jixin has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Arab Emirates. 2. Mr. Tong Defa has been removed from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Ghana. Mr. Cong Song has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Ghana. 3. Mr. Cui Aimin has been removed from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Sweden. Mr. Zhou Limin has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Sweden.
