U.S. President Trump expressed his admiration for Apple's current CEO, Tim Cook, on social media, saying: "I have always been a loyal fan of Cook and also of Jobs. But I believe if Jobs had not left us so early and continued to lead the company instead of Cook taking over, the company would have developed well but not as outstanding as under Cook's leadership. In my five years as president, Cook would call me but not excessively, and I would help him to the best of my ability. After experiencing three or four major assists, I started telling people (who were willing to listen) that he is an amazing manager and leader. He would call me for help (but not every time, as he can be quite demanding at times!), and he would always get things done quickly without paying a penny to those expensive consultants who would charge millions. In short, Cook's career is remarkable and almost incomparable. He will continue to create remarkable achievements for Apple and any other endeavors he chooses to pursue in the future. Cook is an incredible person!"
