The fire caused 2 deaths and around 10 injuries. According to the police, at around 6 pm on the 20th local time, a tanker caught fire and exploded at a pier in Homa Lin Township, Sagaing Province, spreading to nearby motor boats, resulting in casualties. The injured have been sent to hospitals for treatment. In addition, about 10 motor boats were destroyed in the fire.
