UBS Group's two senior investment bankers in Asia are set to leave soon, becoming the latest case in the industry's wave of personnel changes. A memo indicates that Petter Sternby, based in Hong Kong, will be departing from UBS. He currently serves as head of financial institutions business in the Asia-Pacific region and will be seeking another opportunity in the financial industry in Europe. He has been responsible for providing advisory services for banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms, covering M&A and IPOs. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Yao Chong, also based in Hong Kong and head of Asia healthcare investment banking, will also be leaving.
