Reporters learned from a news conference held in Shanghai on April 21st that since 2020, the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 people in Shanghai has increased from 29.6 to 65, the number of PCT international patent applications has increased from 3,558 to 7,446, the number of effective registered trademarks has increased from 1.7374 million to 2.93 million, and the annual registration of copyrighted works has increased from 318,900 to 460,000; the number of patent licensing transfers in the city has increased from 32,000 to 65,000, the annual registration amount of patent and trademark pledge financing has increased from 38.4 billion to 402 billion; the total number of intellectual property talents has reached 60,000.
