The first regular Beijing-Almaty freight train departs for Almaty every week.

According to China Railway Beijing Bureau, today, a train carrying auto parts, mechanical equipment and other goods departed from Beijing to Almaty, this is the first scheduled train from Beijing to Central Asian countries.
