Green electricity takes the lead in the province, with Liaoning's new energy installation scale surpassing thermal power to become the largest source of electricity.

At present, the installed capacity of thermal power in Liaoning Province is close to 42 million kilowatts. On April 20th, with the grid connection of the 500,000-kilowatt project in Changtu Runhang, the total installed capacity of new energy in the province reached 42.06 million kilowatts, surpassing the installed capacity of thermal power, becoming the largest power source type in the province. This has achieved a substantial transition of Liaoning's energy structure from "dominant thermal power with green support" to "dominant green power with thermal support".
