Hunan Provincial Meteorological Bureau initiates Level 3 emergency response for heavy rain, multiple trains along the route have been cancelled.
According to the latest meteorological data analysis, it is expected that from April 20th to 22nd, there will be heavy rain and locally heavy rain in the central and southern parts of Hunan province, accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorms, and strong convective weather such as thunderstorm winds. Among them, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, southern part of Yiyang, southern part of Yueyang, southern part of Huaihua, Loudi, Shaoyang, Hengyang, central-northern part of Yongzhou, and northern part of Chenzhou will have heavy rain, with locally heavy rain in the northern part of Zhuzhou, western part of Hengyang, and northern part of Yongzhou. Hunan Provincial Meteorological Observatory has upgraded the orange alert for heavy rain at 7 o'clock on April 20th. After comprehensive evaluation and emergency consultations, the Hunan Provincial Meteorological Bureau launched a level three emergency response for heavy rain at 9 o'clock on the 20th.
