Our country continues to improve the intellectual property protection system in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, etc.

Today, it was learned from the 2026 China Intellectual Property Protection Forum that our country is continuously improving the intellectual property protection system in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, and genetic technology. Intellectual property protection pilot projects have been carried out in 17 provinces and cities nationwide. By the end of 2025, these pilot areas have accumulated over 100,000 data intellectual property registration applications and issued over 48,000 registration certificates. In order to support emerging industries such as new generation information technology and artificial intelligence, 81 national intellectual property protection centers and 50 rapid rights protection centers have been established nationwide to provide "one-stop" services that integrate rapid pre-review and quick rights protection for innovation entities in emerging fields.
