In 2025, China's installed nuclear power capacity under construction has maintained the world's number one position for 19 consecutive years; the completed investment in nuclear power engineering reached 161 billion yuan, an increase of 14.1 billion yuan compared to the previous year, setting a new historical record; nuclear power equipment manufacturing enterprises delivered a total of 148 main equipment units for nuclear power plants throughout the year, nearly double the amount from 2023. These data, obtained from the 2026 Spring Nuclear Energy Sustainable Development Forum held on April 17th by The Paper, vividly demonstrate the acceleration of China's nuclear power construction.
