At the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang humanoid robot half marathon, Gaode's first quadruped robot "Tutu" appeared at the finish line, becoming the world's first humanoid robot capable of fully autonomous action in an open environment. With autonomous perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities, the mechanical guide dog Tutu assisted visually impaired individuals in completing a series of challenges in a complex environment during the live demonstration, including avoiding dynamic and static obstacles, navigating narrow passages continuously, predicting and avoiding sudden disturbances in real time, and navigating through crowded crowds and obstacles.
