Hubei province will promote the high-standard test flight of more than 4 eVTOL aircraft this year.

"As long as the newly launched eVTOL can complete basic flight maneuvers such as vertical takeoff and landing, hovering, and horizontal flight, there is a chance to receive subsidies from the 'Take the lead' project." On April 18th, a relevant official from the Hubei Provincial Defense Science and Technology Office introduced that according to the relevant task list, Hubei Province plans to promote the high-standard test flights of 4 or more "Hubei-made" eVTOLs this year. In order to accelerate the breakthrough in the research and development of eVTOLs in Hubei Province, and to accelerate the process of airworthiness and commercialization of products, the Hubei Provincial Defense Science and Technology Office and the Provincial Science and Technology Department jointly released the "Notice on the publication of the Hubei Province eVTOL whole machine research and development special breakthrough 'Take the lead' project guidelines". According to the requirements of the notice, this batch of "Take the lead" projects is open to universities, research institutes, enterprises, and social forces throughout the province.
