Hezbollah denies involvement in the attack on Lebanese troops.

The media office of Hezbollah in Lebanon issued a statement on April 18 denying any involvement in the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon in the southern part of Lebanon. They called on all parties to exercise caution in assigning responsibility for the incident until the truth is fully investigated. Hezbollah also emphasized the need for continued cooperation between local residents, the UNIFIL, and the Lebanese army. They stressed that in the current sensitive situation, it is necessary for the Lebanese army and the UNIFIL to further enhance coordination in their actions.
