At the Nio internal meeting held on April 16th, Nio founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin listed "successful launch of strategic new products" as the top VAU goal for the second quarter. "Nio ES9 and Ledian L80, two strategic models, will be launched, and there will be new car effects in May and June. Delivery volume should steadily increase, and both are high-margin large vehicles. We must seize the opportunity in the next two months," Li Bin said. VAU is a target and process management tool used by Nio, with Li Bin convening business leaders at the beginning of each quarter to review the previous quarter and set current quarter VAU goals.
