China Securities Regulatory Commission publicly solicits opinions on "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies" and supporting implementation regulations.

Based on the public solicitation of opinions in March 2023, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, in light of new situations and problems faced in the regulation of the futures industry, further researched and demonstrated the relevant system arrangements in the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies" to form a new "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies," and simultaneously drafted the "Announcement on the Implementation of Relevant Matters" as a supporting implementation regulation. Opinions are now being solicited from the public. The new "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies" will change the originally managed by risk management subsidiaries, approved by the Futures Industry Association for market making trading, derivative trading business to be operated by futures companies, implementing permission access and administrative supervision, and strengthening the supervision of futures company subsidiaries and branches.
