The first intercity train carrying imported iron ore in the Erenhot area of Inner Mongolia pilot Free Trade Zone has begun operating.

On April 17, the 80646 intercity train, carrying imported iron ore from Mongolia, slowly departed from the Zunhua Railway Port in Inner Mongolia and headed to Gaoxian Station in Shanxi Province. This is the first intercity train carrying imported iron ore to depart from the Zunhua area since the establishment of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, marking a further improvement in the quality of the China-Mongolia cross-border resource transportation route.
