State Grid Corporation of China announced that the Board of Directors has received the resignation report from Chairman Yang Dongwei. Due to job changes, Yang Dongwei has applied to resign from the positions of Chairman, Director, Nomination Committee member, Strategy and ESG Committee member, and Convener of the 9th Board of Directors. Yang Dongwei's resignation report takes effect from the date it is delivered to the Board of Directors, and his resignation will not result in the Board of Directors falling below the statutory number, will not affect the normal operation of the Board of Directors, and will not have any adverse impact on the company's daily operations. The company held the 7th meeting of the 9th Board of Directors on April 17, 2026, and elected company director and general manager Qiao Fadong to act as Chairman of the Board, Nomination Committee member, Strategy and ESG Committee member, and Convener of the Board until the new Chairman is elected by the Board of Directors.
