The world's first lithium battery with a key "firewall" capable of withstanding high temperatures up to 1300 degrees Celsius has been successfully developed.

At the 14th Energy Storage International Summit and Exhibition held in early April, a new material showcased by Professor Shen Xiaodong's team from Nanjing Tech University has attracted attention from the audience. This is the world's first high thermal resistance aerogel insulation sheet for lithium-ion batteries that can withstand temperatures up to 1300.
