According to the release from Suzhou, in March, Suzhou's foreign trade continued to grow rapidly after a strong start, achieving a total import and export value of 799.99 billion yuan in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 26.5%. This accounted for 6.8% and 50.3% of the total import and export value of the country and province respectively, contributing 10.9% and 71.8% to the growth of foreign trade in the country and province. Among them, exports were 485.32 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%; imports were 314.67 billion yuan, an increase of 37.3%.
