The 16th Beijing International Film Festival opened on the evening of April 16 at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center. 16 works were selected for the main competition unit "Temple of Heaven Award" and will compete for relevant awards. Since its establishment, the Beijing International Film Festival has always adhered to an international perspective and diverse aesthetics, becoming an important window for dialogue and exchange of film art between China and foreign countries. This year's "Temple of Heaven Award" has a total of 16 nominated films, selected from 1,826 films from 139 countries and regions.
