After OpenAI announced its first permanent office in London, Anthropic revealed its major expansion plan in the UK.

The Anthropic plan to expand on a large scale in London, with a newly acquired office space that can accommodate up to 800 people. This comes after active lobbying by the British government for the American company. Previously, Anthropic had disagreements with the Pentagon over the use of AI. Pip White, the head of Anthropic in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, stated: "The UK has ambitious enterprises and institutions that understand the importance of AI safety, and possesses an exceptional talent pool in AI."
