Meta announces price increase for Quest 3/3S VR headset.

On April 16th, Meta announced that starting from April 19th, 2026, the prices of Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets would be increased. The prices of Meta Quest 3S and Meta Quest 3S will be increased by $50 to $349.99 and $449.99, respectively, while the Meta Quest 3 will be increased by $100 to $599.99. The company stated, This price adjustment is due to a significant increase in manufacturing costs for high-performance VR hardware. Global price increases for key components are affecting almost all consumer electronics categories, including VR. In order to continue providing the hardware, software, and service quality that the Quest platform deserves, we need to adjust prices."
