"Jiangdian Entry into Chongqing" project Chongqing North Converter Station launched the first annual centralized maintenance.

On April 15, the 800 kV UHVDC transmission project from Hami to Chongqing switched from operation to maintenance, marking the start of the first annual centralized maintenance of the "Xinjiang to Chongqing" project. The "Xinjiang to Chongqing" project starts at the Hami Barkun Converter Station in Xinjiang and ends at the Yubei Converter Station in Chongqing. Since its operation, the project has transmitted a total of over 200 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. It is reported that this maintenance will last for 81 days, with a centralized maintenance period from April 15 to April 26. Approximately 1000 workers will be involved in on-site operations, with maintenance covering areas and equipment such as the DC yard, converter transformers, converter valves and valve cooling, and AC filter yards.
