The EU launches the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on citric acid from China.

According to the information from the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on April 14, 2026, the European Commission issued a notice to initiate the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on citric acid and sodium citrate originating from China, in response to applications submitted by European companies N.V. Citrique Belge S.A. and Jungbunzlauer Austria AG on January 14, 2026. The dumping investigation period is from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, and the period for analyzing industry damage is from January 1, 2023 to the end of the dumping investigation period.
