This year, the "Eastbound" China-Europe freight train has handled over 2000 trains.
The reporter learned from China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that as of the 14th, the number of China-Europe freight trains passing through the "Eastern Corridor" this year has exceeded 2000 trains, with a total of 200,800 standard containers of goods sent, an increase of 44.8%. The "Eastern Corridor" of the China-Europe freight trains consists of the three major railway border crossings of Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang North. Currently, 27 stable operating routes have been formed, reaching 14 countries including Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands, connecting more than 60 cities in China including Changsha, Zhengzhou, and Chengdu. The types of goods transported include electronic products, engineering machinery, finished automobiles, and other high value-added products. The variety of goods has increased to over a thousand categories since the early stages of operation, injecting momentum for high-quality development of domestic enterprises.
