Major European stock indexes closed mostly lower.

The European Stoxx 600 index fell by 0.17%, the European Stoxx index fell by 0.32%, and the Eurozone blue-chip stock index fell by 0.37%. The French CAC 40 index fell by 0.37%, the Spanish IBEX index fell by 1.01%, the UK FTSE 100 index fell by 0.19%, and the German DAX index fell by 0.23%.
