Bitmine announced today that its total holdings in cryptocurrency, cash, and the "Moon project" amount to $11.8 billion. As of April 12, 2026, at 3:30 pm Eastern Time, the company's cryptocurrency holdings include: 4,874,858 ETH 198 Bitcoins $200 million investment in Beast Industries $85 million investment in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ code: ORBS) and $7.19 billion in cash. Bitmine's ETH holdings account for 4.04% of the total supply of ETH (120.7 million ETH). "The Iran War has entered its seventh week and remains the most important driving factor in the global markets. ETH has risen 17.4% since the start of the war, outperforming the S&P 500 index by 1830 basis points, making it the best performing asset. We believe that ETH outperforming gold by 2743 basis points proves that ETH is a valuable store of value in times of war," said Bitmine Chairman Thomas 'Tom' Lee. "Ethereum continues to benefit from two major tailwinds: Wall Street tokenizing on blockchain and the increasing demand for public neutral blockchains by proxy AI systems," Lee continued. "Bitmine has maintained an accelerated pace of purchasing ETH every week for the past four weeks because our fundamental judgment is that ETH is in the final stage of the 'mini cryptocurrency winter.' In the past week, we acquired 71,524 ETH, the highest purchase rate since the week of December 22, 2025," Lee said.
