Ding Xuexiang will visit Turkmenistan, attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh gas field project as a special representative of President Xi Jinping, and hold the seventh meeting of the China-Turkmenistan Cooperation Committee.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, at the invitation of Turkmenistan, Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will visit Turkmenistan from April 15th to 17th as a special representative of President Xi Jinping to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh gas field project. During the visit, Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, as the Chinese co-chair of the China-Turkmenistan Cooperation Committee, will co-chair the seventh meeting of the committee with the Turkmen side.
