Jiangsu Wuxi issues two new housing policies to support talent and families in purchasing homes for improvement.

In order to support various talents in their development in Wuxi and to meet the housing needs of families facing difficulties or seeking housing improvements, Wuxi has recently announced two major housing support policies: "Notice on Providing Housing Subsidies for Various Talents in Wuxi" and "Notice on Supporting Families in Urban Areas to Improve Housing Conditions". The "Notice on Providing Housing Subsidies for Various Talents in Wuxi" clearly states that the subsidy standards for talents have been raised, the subsidy will be paid at once and can be used directly as down payment during the house purchase stage to alleviate the pressure of buying a house. The subsidy is extended from college graduates to doctoral degree holders, with no restrictions on housing types - whether newly built or existing properties, state-owned or privately-owned projects can all benefit from the subsidies, and group purchasing applications from companies are supported. The "Notice on Supporting Families in Urban Areas to Improve Housing Conditions" specifies that families with basic housing needs in urban areas will receive up to 200,000 RMB in financial assistance to directly purchase newly built commercial properties.
