To stabilize oil prices, Vietnam will extend the policy of waiving fuel taxes until the end of June.

According to a statement from the Vietnamese National Assembly Office, the National Assembly has passed a resolution to continue the suspension of environmental protection tax and special consumption tax on fuel consumption. The Vietnamese government previously announced the suspension of environmental taxes on gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel, as well as gasoline special consumption tax, from March 27 to April 15. The Vietnamese Ministry of Finance said that this will reduce the country's financial revenue by 7.2 trillion Vietnamese dong per month.
