Alibaba Cloud announced adjustments to the API free quota for Standard and Professional edition users, and introduced support for pay-as-you-go. DataWorks Standard and Professional edition users will have no daily limit on API calls; the free quota for API calls in DataWorks Standard edition is adjusted to 100,000 times per month, with any excess using OpenAPI pay-as-you-go. The free quota for API calls in DataWorks Professional edition is adjusted to 500,000 times per month, with any excess using OpenAPI pay-as-you-go. The Basic and Enterprise editions of DataWorks remain unchanged; QPS limits for all versions remain unchanged. These changes will be gradually rolled out from April 14, 2026, and will be effective for all regions by April 23, 2026. (Alibaba Cloud).
