Alibaba Cloud: Adjust the free API quota for standard and professional version users and support pay-as-you-go.

Alibaba Cloud announced adjustments to the free quota for Standard and Professional Edition users of its API and introduced pay-as-you-go options. It was mentioned that for DataWorks Standard and Professional Edition users, the daily limit on API calls has been removed. For DataWorks Standard Edition users, the free quota for API calls has been adjusted to 100,000 times per month, with any excess being charged on a pay-as-you-go basis using OpenAPI. For DataWorks Professional Edition users, the free quota for API calls has been adjusted to 500,000 times per month, with any excess being charged on a pay-as-you-go basis using OpenAPI. The quotas for DataWorks Basic and Enterprise Editions remain unchanged, as do the QPS limits for each version. These changes will be rolled out gradually from April 14, 2026, and will be effective in all regions by April 23, 2026.
