XPO, as a new generation of pluggable optical module solution launched by Arista in collaboration with more than 60 partners, breaks the physical limits of traditional OSFP with 8 times the bandwidth, 4 times the front panel density, native liquid cooling, and complete hot-swappable features, while also considering the performance advantages of CPO/NPO and the operational convenience of pluggability, providing a more practical upgrade path for AI at the card-level in Scale up/Scale out/Scale across scenarios. CITIC Securities believes that XPO will significantly expand the application scenarios of pluggable optical modules, driving domestic optical module manufacturers to achieve smooth evolution in core technologies and kickstart a new round of performance valuation growth cycles in the next generation of optical interconnection upgrades.
