On April 11th, the Douyin Blackboard News posted that recently, the platform found some users spreading rumors about businesses, including brand names, logo designs, and locations, outside of the platform. These rumors were baseless conspiracy theories or further fabricated rumors. The platform has taken measures to address the violations: 1. Rumors such as "brands with red dots on their logos are related to Japan," "Zhao Yiming is a Japanese brand," and "the store is a child trafficking hub" have been included in the rumor database, and have been taken down and intercepted, with a total of over 1,500 pieces of rumor content being dealt with. The platform is continuing to investigate and clean up related rumors and has implemented a "Truth-Seeking Card" to promote the spread of debunking information. 2. In the comments section of videos involving related enterprises, rumors, conspiracy theories, and insulting comments have been taken down, with a total of 88,000 improper comments being cleared. 3. In addition, the platform has actively addressed complaints and reports related to these enterprises, leading to the removal of 767 videos. Douyin has stated that they will continue to address misinformation and infringement involving enterprises.
