Stevanovi elected as the new speaker of the Slovenian parliament

The official website of the Slovenian Parliament announced on the 10th that Zoran Stankovi was elected as the Speaker of the new National Assembly at the inauguration ceremony held that day. In the anonymous vote held in the parliament, Stankovi received 48 votes in favor and 29 votes against. Stankovi is the leader of the center-right Truth Party, which entered the National Assembly for the first time in the elections held on March 22, winning 5 out of 90 seats.
