The new energy electricity output in five southern provinces of our country has reached a record high.

According to the Southern Power Grid, the new energy power generation and electricity in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Hainan provinces recently reached a historic high, with the maximum power generation capacity exceeding 100 million kilowatts for the first time and daily power generation reaching 1.4 billion kilowatt-hours, accounting for 30% of the total daily power generation. Data shows that the total installed capacity of new energy in the five southern provinces has exceeded 280 million kilowatts, accounting for over 40% of the total power generation installed capacity. Since the beginning of this year, the new energy power generation in the southern power grid operating area has increased by more than 20% year-on-year, effectively filling the traditional power supply gap.
