The largest public hospital in Hong Kong will begin to gradually provide services starting in October of this year.

The Hong Kong Hospital Authority announced on the 10th that the new emergency hospital located in the Kai Tak Development Area will begin to be put into service in phases starting in October this year, and will be officially named "Kai Tak Hospital". Once fully operational, the hospital will have the highest number of beds and the largest total floor area of any medical hub in Hong Kong.
