Beijing Hyundai Motor Co. Ltd. recalls certain Sonata cars.

Recently, Beijing Hyundai Motor Company filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products". Recall number S2026M0042V: Starting from April 21, 2026, a total of 953 Hyundai Sonata cars manufactured between September 1, 2025, and October 13, 2025, will be recalled. The vehicles within this recall range may experience display lagging and green screen faults on the dashboard due to abnormal signals from the power management integrated circuit in the instrument controller. This poses a safety hazard. Beijing Hyundai Motor Company will provide free software upgrades for the vehicles within the recall range using remote upgrade technology. For vehicles that cannot be upgraded through OTA technology, authorized dealers will contact relevant users for the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
