The 14th Macao International Travel Expo opens, first time organizing a visit to Macao for the Central Asian tourism industry.

The 14th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo opened on the 10th at the Macao Venetian Convention and Exhibition Center, attracting more than 700 tourism-related companies and official institutions from 59 countries and regions, with over 600 domestic and foreign invited buyers participating. For the first time, the Macao SAR Government Tourism Office, together with the China Cultural Center in Central Asian countries under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, organized representatives from the tourism industry of countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan to visit Macao's cultural and tourism resources during the exhibition period, which will contribute to further expanding Macao's international customer market.
