The Beijing Sports Bureau and the Chinese Football Association have set up a joint investigation team to seriously investigate the serious false matches in the U-23 football games.

On April 10th, the website of the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau announced that on April 4th, during the match between Orange Team 16 of the Dongcheng Sports School and Lan Team in the U10 boys group of the 2026 5th China Youth Football League Beijing Division, a serious case of falsification occurred. This incident had a vile nature, distorted the values of young people, and caused serious negative consequences. The Beijing Football Association has taken serious measures to investigate the relevant issues. On April 10th, the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau and the Chinese Football Association formed a joint investigation team to further conduct due diligence investigations on the Beijing Division organizing committee of the youth competition, match supervision, referees, and on-site staff, and to strictly deal with the leaders, coaches, clubs, and sports schools involved in violations and disciplinary actions with a zero-tolerance attitude, in accordance with regulations, discipline, and laws, and effectively strengthen the supervision of fair play and discipline in the competition.
