As of the end of 2025, the coverage rate of artificial intelligence applications in various schools reached 87.7%, while also promoting teachers to upgrade from "knowing how to use AI" to "skillfully using AI." On April 10th, at a press conference held by the Ministry of Education, Li Yi, Director of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, introduced the relevant situation of Beijing's promotion of "artificial intelligence + education." Li Yi stated that based on the advantages of education, science and technology, talent, and industry in the capital, Beijing has issued the "Work Plan for Promoting the Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Education Sector in Beijing." They have focused on key tasks in the five areas of "policy supply, competence improvement, scale application, ecosystem construction, and public capacity," systematically laying out the implementation path to ensure a strong and focused direction.
