Brazil has made an initial ruling on anti-dumping investigations into acrylic acid from China.

On April 9th, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 27 of 2026, making an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of acrylic acid originating from China. It recommended to continue the investigation without implementing temporary anti-dumping measures, and extended the deadline for making a final ruling on the case to 18 months from the date of initiation. The involved product is classified under the NCM 2916.11.10.
