During the US-Iran ceasefire negotiations, the United States launched a major upgrade plan for Israel's F-35.
On the occasion of the announcement of a ceasefire between the US and Iran and the start of two weeks of negotiations, the United States has launched a major upgrade plan for Israel's F-35 stealth fighter jets. According to the American magazine "Military Observation" reported on the 9th, the main contractor of the F-35 fighter project, Lockheed Martin, has obtained a revised contract worth 11.4 million US dollars to develop three software data loading packages called "production enhancement version" for Israel's F-35 fleet. This plan covers software development and system engineering activities, and is part of Israel's second stage of system development and design plan. This upgrade comes as the US and Israel launched a major military strike against Iran on February 28, and both the US and Iran entered a ceasefire, prompting speculation that the plan aims to target the F-35 based on the combat experience of the Israeli Air Force in high-intensity operations against Iran and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon.
