Venezuela's Acting President makes his first official visit, discussing a "roadmap" with Grenada.

The President's office of Venezuela confirmed on the 9th that acting President Delcy Rodriguez arrived in the Caribbean island nation of Grenada for a visit. This is her first official visit since taking office as acting President in early January. The President's office issued a statement saying that the purpose of this visit is to deepen the strategic integration between Venezuela and Caribbean countries. During meetings with Grenadian government officials, both sides will discuss advancing the "roadmap" signed during Grenadian Prime Minister Keith Mitchell's visit to Venezuela last April. On January 3rd of this year, the US military launched a massive military strike on Venezuela, forcibly seizing President Maduro and his wife and taking them to the United States. Vice President Rodriguez then assumed the role of acting President.
