State Council: Support the opening of additional wide-gauge direct freight trains between Erenhot and Ulaanbaatar.

The State Council issued the "Overall Plan for China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone", proposing to enhance the service guarantee capability of cross-border trains. It will promote the construction of Hohhot, the hub city of China-Europe trains, and the land ports of Zamiin-Uud and Erenhot for China-Europe trains. It will vigorously develop customized China-Europe trains. Support will be given to the opening of wide-gauge direct trains from Erenhot to Ulaanbaatar, and expand the wide-gauge loading function of Erenhot railway port. Promote multimodal transport "single bill of lading" and "one-box system", and explore the establishment of business models and rule standards that meet the development characteristics of multimodal transport in border areas.
